The point was.....what?

Ok, just got done watching the movie vantage point, concept is brilliant and execution of the concept was great. However, where the hell was the story. The president gets shot and we get to see all the people involved. The only problem is they show no motives for their actions. It's movie based around 15 minutes of time. Don't get me wrong, I loved how they showed all the vantage points of the characters. I just wished they would have told more about the reasons. Oh well.

Short and Sweet night with Hancock.

Wow, this film was short. Roughly an hour and 30 minutes. Isn't the average film pushing between two and three hours? Even though the Hancock film was short, it was entertaining. The graphics were not amazing and the performance wasn't "LEGEND"ary. However, Will Smith, Jason Bateman, and Charlize Theron worked well with each other. The story could have been ironed out a little more. Hell, take the 30 minutes it was missing and continue out the story. It is worth checking out. I thought it fell short of Will's typical summer blockbusters.

Mo!

Well I was completely taken by surprise, yet again. After seeing all of those promos, I thought there would be nothing left of the story. I was wrong. This is a great film for the family. Even though people are making a big deal out of the message. Some cases taking it well out of proportion. Yes, people are becoming fatter and lazier. They create more and more waste. If we don't do something now, our home will be destroyed for the following generations. I have read people telling how this is reflecting on the Bush administration. Are you kidding me? This is global. If you don't take care of something, it will not last. It's that simple. Well back to the actual Pixar movie. I'm a huge fan of the film studio and will be for life. The graphics are simply amazing. To give a metal box such emotion and humor is outstanding. Two thumbs up. Oh for the kids sitting behind us in the theater. I know where you live. Punk.

The threads are speaking.

Action-filled excitement with a hint of Fight Club-like introduction. I enjoyed this film, but wouldn't go out and watch it again. Maybe I'm getting too old, but the blood doesn't do anything for me. I think a good movie tells the story without relying on the special effects. You can get the point of shooting someone across without showing me the interior bits and pieces of that person. The last Rambo movie had the same issues. WHY? Why go so realistic with the limbs being shot off, but yet you can curve a bullet. On top of that your heart can handle 4x the amount of adrenaline. Wouldn't their hearts explode. I mean, he had a job as account manager. He sits for a living, he's not Olympic runner.
